I am spending the weekend in Trieste (switch to SAT view). There are 2 notable things I need to mention about this period:

• yesterday evening: my hosts invited me to a party. It was in a nice house in the city center. After a few seconds I understood there was something wrong and cool at the same time: people talked italian or english indifferently, both very well. I just couldn’t help laughing for a while because that was a strange situation. I soon found out the organizers were a couple, the husband from Trieste, the wife from England. All the 4 sons are going to college in UK. Sob! The first time I hear one of them speaking in English, I thought "Look, they host an English student". All of a sudden, this guy started talking local italian dialect, crazy!
• today: it’s the Barcolana day: people everywhere, boats everywhere. Yesterday I was at the seaport to see all the boats. The variety was great, from ultra-competitive ones to vikings one :)

So far I’ve spent a great time, now I need to get back to work, bye!

I always thought attaching "unplugged" to my nick was a nice and original way to give my blog a name. Unfortunately I was wrong. I am currently looking for a new name...

I am always looking for new ways to improve my English knowledge.  I think this can be a good start: the first of a few lessons that focus on how to learn to swear in English. I'll let you know how I will like these bloody lessons.

Futureme is a service that lets you write today a letter that someone (even you) will receive in the future, on a date you decide. The thing is not that stupid as it seems. Now go, seat and relax in front the page and write a serious letter to your future self from, say, 2010. It's not that straightforward. At least, it wasn't for me. What you write, what you skip, where will you be? Let me know :)

Maybe it's a premonition. I was writing I nice article to post to this blog. It was the first time I sat down and started writing something good for the blog since last time (last time was a big long ago). I was very inspirated and wrote more or less 5 or 6 paragraphs. Then I typed inconsciously, something like TAB-RETURN and everything was lost. I was as usual typing my article directly in HTMLArea. I am very informatically depressed now and I will just hit the Submit button. Feel free to share your sad stories about suddenly lost content if you have some. I will set off to check TextPattern out meanwhile.

No people chatting in the chats, no people blogging in the blogs of my blogroll. And when I say "no people chatting" no single line has been written in minutes in any of the 7 chats I am in. Bah.

I am experiencing a temporary DSL connection failure, so my posting will be discontinued until my ISP fixes this problem.

This is the first and probably last entry I will be posting from Spain. I was sleeping and eating here (my brother's apartment) and everyday I was sunbathing in this beach (exactly in that point). I ate a lot and had a lot of fun. I don't feel like to tell everythihng here, if you are interested drop me a line or meet me :)
